How do I sell tack, apparel, or equipment?

Simply take a couple of minutes to setup your account and verify your email. Click on Add Listing. Upload item photos and details and post your auction. It's as easy as that! You choose the starting bid as well as reserve price and buy it now price if desired. Auctions run 24/7 year round and can start on any date you wish. Listings are FREE unless you choose any optional upgrades such as featured or top of search results.

We also have REGIONAL and SPECIALTY horse and tack auctions with specific start and end dates, specific to a state or province or to a registry or club. Please contact us to list in a regional or specialty auction or request one for your area.

How do I sell a horse?

Once your account is created go to Add Listing and choose Horse Listing as well as any optional upgrades such as featuring on our homepage. There is an entry fee for horse listings as horse sales are completely managed by EquiVendor and have specific start dates. Upload horse photos, details, videos etc and leave the rest up to us! You choose the starting bid and your reserve price.

Are there fees?

Tack, apparel, equipment auction listings are FREE, unless you add an optional upgrade to your listing. IF your item sells you pay a flat 7% commission.

Horse auctions are managed auctions for specific dates and have an entry fee of $49 (plus any featured upgrades). IF your horse sells the seller pays a 7% commission.

EquiVendor handles payment and disbursement of funds on behalf of buyer and seller as well as a system of various releases to make sure the transaction goes smoothly and securely and both buyer and seller are protected. The buyer for all auctions also pays a 3.5% fee on top of the selling price to cover payment processing costs. Auction payments may be made by credit or debit card, bank wire, or etransfer.
